Partner Networks
IDIA is not the only community of actors that are collaborating to support innovation for development impact. There are many other networks, alliances and groups at global, regional and country levels who have similar goals and complementary skillsets / resources. For this reason, IDIA created a community of ‘Partner Networks’ to help support mutually beneficial collaboration with these groups, which in turn exponentially increase our respective reach, influence and impact. These are not funding relationships, and are supported by informal Partner Network Agreements that are co-designed by both parties and which are designed to amplify existing activities or goals.
Example joint activities enabled through IDIA Partner Network collaboration include:
Collective advocacy - raising awareness of or campaigning for change around share issues and priority topics
Knowledge synthesis and generation - cross-fertilising our datasets, learning and expertise to produce targeted outputs filling identified knowledge gaps in the system
Joint Events - co-hosting in-person or online convenings to engage new audiences
Peer-led capacity building - providing agencies and individuals from both parties with accelerated access to resources and opportunities for skills development offered by each entity
Examples of current Partner Networks are illustrated below.
